But what are Biomass boilers?

Biomass boilers burn several different materials such as wood pellets, chips, or logs which provide heating and power.

Biomass itself is any organic material that can be used as fuel, and within the UK domestic markets, wood pellet boilers are definitely the most commonly used. The main biomass products used by our customers are wood based; this is due to the potential clean burn.

What Fuel does a Biomass boiler use?

Wood Chips – These are small pieces of wood taken from logs. Although they’re reasonably cheap, they are not as efficient as their pellet counterpart.

Wood Pellets – These are the most frequently use form of fuel when it comes to domestic biomass boilers. They have a low moisture content and their size create an easy-to-use experience, not taking up much room but providing great efficiency.

Our Blown delivery service allows use to attach a hose onto the customers’ pellet bin/silo and blow it at the required amount.

Wood Logs – Fuel logs are the least common choice when it comes to biomass boilers. Although this may be a valid option it requires the fuel to be fed by hand.

Our premium 6mm ENplus A1 Wood Fuel Pellets are made in our factory in North Wales, and not imported from Eastern Europe like most of the fuel pellets on the UK market.

They are available in 15kg bags and come in different sized pallets.
