Blazer’s EN plus A1 Wood Pellets
Our EN plus A1 certified wood fuel pellets are mainly 6mm in diameter and less than 45mm in length. Typically pellets have a moisture content of 7% to 10% which means that they are easier to store without degradation than wood chips. They are more energy dense than other biomass wood fuels meaning that they require less space for storage. Their uniform size and constituents make them easier to handle which in turn leads to more reliable fuel feed mechanisms.
ENplus is a recognised certificate with a set of strict requirements to ensure that pellets produced under this certificate are of an excellent quality, creating the least amount of ash. Most manufacturers recognise ENplus and recommend the use of pellets of this type in their boilers; many insist on the use of ENplus pellets to maintain a valid warranty for their boiler. A consistent fuel results in a consistent performance from your boiler.

Blazer’s Fuel Logs
Our briquettes are made form 100% natural virgin wood that is sourced in the UK, FSC ® certified and contains no additives. As well as conforming to the EN 14961-3:2011 specifications for property class A1 wood briquettes and are also approved by HETAS as a Quality Assured Woodfuel under the Woodsure+Plus Certification scheme.
The briquettes are packed in easily managed packs, each containing six briquettes. The dimensions of our briquettes are 7cm x 7cm x 30cm (length). The briquettes are brittle and can easily be broken by hand, if required, to fit smaller stoves.
The briquettes are supplied on pallets. Each pallet contains 96 packs – 576 briquettes in total – and weighs approximately one tonne.
Reasons to use briquettes:
The heat output of a single pallet of briquettes is equivalent to 8m³ of seasoned logs – a saving of approximately 40%.
Extremely easy to use.
Produce minimum levels of ash.
